What is Two-Way Learning?
The Philosophy
Two-Way Learning is a living partnership between First Nations knowledge systems and mainstream Australian education systems and ways of thinking – a model built on respect, reciprocity, and shared power.
It goes far beyond teaching in two languages. At its heart, Two-Way Learning recognises that First Nations languages, worldviews, and cultural practices are not “add‑ons” to education, but powerful foundations for learning in their own right.
